Capri Boat Ride

Hey darlings!!

Today, I am going to show you the pictures of a boat ride we went on during our Capri vacation. I can't tell you enough how beautiful the sea was. Crystal clear, blue and not too warm, but not too cold either. Just perfect!! Normally, I am not going into the sea very often, as I am a little afraid of sharks, jellyfishes and so on (I know that's a bit stupid, but I just can't help it). But this time I couldn't resist. As I said, the water was just so delightful and I couldn't stay on the boat anyways as I get sea sick pretty easy when it isn't moving ;)

How was your weekend? Could you enjoy the hot, hot, hot temperatures a little?

Last Saturday, we went to a party and as it was still extremely warm during the night I decided that the motto "less is more" definitely works this time. So I wore my favourite denim shorts, a yellow top and my Zara sequined blazer, which I put into my bag after five minutes. It was just too warm. But I always take a jacket, scarf or both with me. Well, it MIGHT get chilly or there MIGHT be an air-condition ;) Anyways, I love wearing bright colours, when it is hot outside. It is just so much fun.

What a lovely day!! At least in Bavaria, Germany. Luckily the summer isn't over yet and so I had to put my autumn food and clothes cravings aside and concentrate on light, fresh food and breezy clothes again. But somehow I already started to look forward to the next season.

Last Wednesday we were invited to a BBQ at our friend's house. For this evening I decided to wear jeans, as it might get cold during the night and we intended to stay a little longer. Normally, I hate wearing tight denims when it's hot outside. But the distressed Rag & Bone ones are just perfect as they are pretty thin and have, well, holes in it ;)

What a rainy day!! At least in Germany. Right now, I would love to wear my Hunter wellington boots with a jeans and a parka and run through the rain with an umbrella. But as there is now one who would join me and take pictures (for you of course), where's the fun, right? ;)

Review The Fabulous – Bedtime Essentials

Hello again!!

In today's "Review The Fabulous" post I am showing you my favourite bedtime essentials.

On my nightstand there is always at least one lip balm, a hand cream and mostly a fragrance spray for calmness. It is so important to nourish your lips and hands during the night to prevent moisture loss. You don't want to wake up with chapped lips and cracks on your hands, do you? During the summer it might not be as crucial as during winter, but I made using these products to my daily bedtime routine anyways. All right, when it's hot outside I may leave the hand creme, but never the lip balm!!

How was your week so far?

Last weekend it felt like autumn already. It was pretty cold in Germany and I started to have cravings for cinnamon dishes, chai tea, pumpkins, English pies and autumn clothes. Every year there is a point for me at which I am fed up with summer clothes and I am starting to really looking forward to the cozy season. But I am still happy that the sun is shining again and that we can look forward to a few (hopefully a bit more) sunny days.

Today, I went into the city with no intention of buying anything. I just wanted to grab something to eat, go to Nespresso and then back home. But while looking at shop windows I suddenly saw the two pair of shoes I was looking all over the Internet for the past weeks and I just couldn't put my hands on them in my shoe size. So I went into the shop (nearly without hope that they would) and imagine how happy I was when they had both pairs in my size. I had to buy them, right? It was destiny ;)

I've actually bought the dress I am wearing in these pictures a few month ago – It's a Warehouse silk maxi dress and I instantly fell in love with it. The crossed straps at the back are so gorgeous and the fit is perfect. But by the time the weather was right for wearing it, it went on sale. And that's something that really annoys me. Buying things for the full price and before you are able to use or wear it it suddenly is available for half the price. But on the other hand you can't always wait and see if something turns into a steal as often the stuff you put your eyes on is sold out in an instant. I came to terms with deciding how much I want to have a piece of clothes or accessories and try not to be bothered when after some time I find out it is on sale. But to be honest, that doesn't always work ;)

Bobbi Brown – Creamy Color For Lips & Cheeks

Hey honeys!

I want to show you the Bobbi Brown Creamy Color for Lips & Cheeks in Honeyed Tea (limited edition). It is part of the Desert Twilight collection and retails at 20,00 € in Germany for 7 ml.

First of all I have applied the Bobbi Brown 2 in 1 product roughly around my cheeks. Afterwards I tapped it in with two fingers until I got the soft effect I wished for. I then used it on my lips, which really is as easy as using any other lip colour.

Another outfit for you from our trip to Capri. We went to the beach club again and this time I wore Zara denim shorts (I love those, they are so comfy), a Zara tank and a Zara t-shirt on top of it. Here you can find the outfit I wore the day before.

 Lately, I am crazy about knotting shirts. It gives most of the outfits a cool touch and I think that it makes you appear thinner. What do you think? Agree or agree to disagree ;)?

Summer Mat

Hello darlings!!

In the summer I just love it shiny and glossy and in my opinion mat products are more autumn material. But recently I received the information about the Lancôme Midnight Roses Look for Autumn/Winter 2012 and the Vernis In Love Top Coat Mat is part of it. As the summer hasn't said goodbye yet and the Midnight Roses collection launches in August I combined the top coat mat with a tropical colour – For this I chose the Essie nail polish in Tart Deco. I think the effect looks great and really is something different for summer. By the way, the Midnight Roses collection is so fabulous! I can't wait to show it to you ASAP. And it changed my mind about mat belonging to autumn/winter only, too.

Today's "Review The Fabulous" post is about the new Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara, which is supposed to give your lashes a glamorous volume and a Hollywood like curve.
